Newsom continues his ‘tour’ dodging giving poor state of the state address.

(San Diego, CA) — Governor Gavin Newsom is headed to San Diego on Sunday as part of his State of the State tour. Instead of the traditional speech at the Capitol this year, which would necessarily include an explanation of a budget surplus last year being turned into a budget deficit this year, the the Governor held events Thursday in Sacramento, Friday in the Bay Area, and Saturday in Los Angeles and Sunday in San Diego. The last event will highlight mental healthcare reform in California, where many, including San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, have advocated for stronger conservatorship rules in the state, trying to address a portion of the homeless crisis.
