(Newark, NJ) — A street in Newark is being dedicated today to sixties pop icon and living legend Frankie Valli. He grew up in Brick City as Francesco Stephen Castelluccio before adopting his stage name and cranking out hit after hit fronting the Four Seasons in the 1960’s. At 88, Vallie will perform “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Sherry,” “Walk Like A Man” and other big hits at the New Jersey Peforming Arts Center Friday night. And now this Jersey Boy has a Newark street named for him at the corner of Stephen Crane Plaza and Franklin Avenue where he was raised in a housing project.
