(Los Angeles, CA) – A big fleet of electric school buses are being purchased by the Los Angeles Unified School District. The district says they’re buying 180 electric buses. How much? LA Daily News reports $75,000,000. District also plan to add chargers and other essential equipment at their Sun Valley Bus Yard. The electric school bus system should be in place in about three years. The Sun Valley Bus Yard is responsible for transporting about 46-hundred students each school day.
