Contract Approved By District Board of Education
(Los Angeles, CA) — A new contract is now approved for teachers in the L.A. Unified School District. The District Board of Education has now approved and ‘the United Teachers Los Angeles’ overwhelmingly ratified the proposed contract last week. The agreement includes a historic pay increase; 21-percent over the next few years and smaller class sizes, plus pay increases for school nurses, school social workers, special-ED and early-ED teachers.
