Rider Suffers Panic Attack, Jumps Out of Disneyland Splash Mountain Log

(Anaheim, CA) — A woman who was riding on Disneyland’s Splash Mountain says she suffered a panic attack. That prompted her to climb out of the ride’s log and walk down the stairs to the entrance. The woman was not injured and it is unclear how theme park officials responded. Splash Mountain opened in 1989 and is now closed for renovation. It will be reimagined and named after the star of the Disney movie, “The Princess and the Frog.” When work is completed it will be known as “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.”
