President Biden could meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping next month in San Francisco.
Biden told reporters at the White House today a face-to-face meeting with Xi is possible during the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation forum in mid-November, but specifics were not disclosed as the meeting is reportedly in its early planning stages.
The meeting would be the first between the leaders since they met on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Bali last November. This comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Beijing.
