The Los Angeles Police Department’s official YouTube channel is back online, but a graphic video has been taken down. YouTube briefly suspended the channel during the weekend, after the LAPD posted a video of a violent attack that happened in Venice late last month.
The LAPD said it appealed the suspension, and was initially denied.
The LAPD adds that it posted the video in hopes someone would see it and be able to identify the suspects.
