California researchers are expanding their mission to find aliens. The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute in Mountain View was just given a 200-million dollar grant to see if they can determine whether there’s any form of life beyond Earth.
The nonprofit has been combing the stars for years for evidence of a technically advanced civilization. The philanthropic gift will now allow scientists to consolidate projects and widen their search.
