A new list ranks the top 25 places to live in America, and only one city in California is on it. San Jose ranks fourth on the U.S. News and World Report list, which considers factors like housing affordability, resident well-being, and the job market.
Experts say the selection is odd considering the median home price in San Jose is nearly one-point-four million dollars, tech companies are laying off workers, not hiring them, and crime in the Bay Area is up.
Ann Arbor, Michigan, tops the list. The median home price there is four-hundred-36-thousand dollars.
