Los Angeles Police are aiming to stop organized teams of foreign burglars. The department revealed a new task force yesterday that will involve other police agencies aside from the LAPD.
Interim Police Chief Dominic Choi says burglars from foreign countries are responsible for an increasing number of home break-ins in recent months.
Some law enforcement officials and prosecutors have called it “burglary tourism.”
