New details have emerged about the Homeland Security raids of the Los Angeles and Miami homes of rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs. Dozens of heavily armed federal agents descended upon Diddy’s two estates to serve search warrants connected with a sex trafficking investigation. The rapper’s adult sons say they had lasers pointed at them when they walked outside the Los Angeles-area mansion.
Sources told the Los Angeles Times that federal agents emptied safes, dismantled electronics, and scattered papers in some rooms. Authorities spent several hours at each of the properties, and no arrests were made. Combs was in the Miami area but not at home during the raid.
