A man from Long Beach is behind bars in connection with at least 25 home burglaries. The burglaries spanned from last August to last week.
Police say the man posed as a salesman or service worker, knocked on doors, then made his way inside once he figured out no one was home.
The man stole money, jewelry, collectible coins and heirlooms. Detectives say the man broke into houses in Long Beach, Torrance, Glendale, Cerritos and Los Alamitos.
Authorities believe there may be additional unreported incidents based on the volume of evidence recovered during the search warrant service and encourage any possible victims to contact the Burglary Detail at LBPDBurglary@longbeach.gov or 562-570-7351.
