Outrage is growing over a 71-year-old taking a plea deal in another San Francisco crash.  Karen Cartagena hit and killed a four-year-old girl in a stroller last August near Oracle Park and seriously injured her father.

ABC 7 was at yesterday’s hearing when she pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter charge to avoid jail time.  She got two years probation and community service.  Her attorney says she’s “beyond remorseful.”

The city has since improved the road by closing one right turn lane from 4th Street onto King Street.
