Kaiser Permanente Announces Data Breach Affecting 13.4 Million Current And Former Members

Kaiser Permanente has announced a data transmission to tech companies that may have included some members’ personal information.

The third-party vendors involved are Google, Microsoft, Bing, and X. Kaiser is notifying 13-point-four million current and former members of the breach. 

The information released did not include sensitive data such as usernames, passwords, or financial information. It did include IP addresses, names, information indicating a member or patient’s access to Kaiser’s.
