Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass is calling for a full investigation into the violence that erupted at UCLA.
More than a dozen people were injured during clashes between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel activists, and there are concerns about the amount of time it took the police to respond to the violence.
In a statement, Bass says, “Free speech will be protected, violence and bigotry will not.” UCLA Chancellor Gene Block also promises a thorough investigation.
