Police in Glendale, California, have arrested four men who they call “tourism burglars.”  The Colombian nationals were arrested after officers found video cameras hidden in bushes and trees in a neighborhood where break-ins have been happening recently.

Officers found a vehicle in the neighborhood driving with its lights off.  The driver was one of the four suspects, and stolen goods were found in the vehicle. The cameras were tipping the burglars off about when residents left their homes.

Burglary tourism is on the rise, with criminals coming to America from either Columbia or Chile on travel visas. They often target affluent communities.
