Serial Projectile Sniper Targeting Pedestrians in Ventura

Police are investigating reports of someone shooting projectiles at pedestrians on streets near the Ventura Pier. A woman says she was hit in the neck this past Sunday with a marble-sized object that looked like a paintball or gumball. The woman made a social media post about what happened, and got responses from nearly a dozen people saying it also happened to them. All of the reported incidents happened within the past year, within the same two-block radius. Several of the victims say they saw a white pickup truck drive away after they were shot.
