Luxury SF Store Adds Barriers to Stop Retail Theft

A luxury boutique is using a new crime-fighting tool. Barriers have been installed outside Dior in San Francisco’s Union Square to prevent thieves from crashing cars into the front door and running inside to steal items.
Last month, Mayor London Breed advocated for the fixtures after a person crashed a vehicle into the Louis Vuitton location and attempted to burglarize it.
