New Jersey Senator Cory Booker is looking to ban Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents from concealing their identities when conducting arrests. He and fellow Democratic Senator Alex Padilla of California introduced a bill that bans ICE agents from wearing masks and requires them to display their agency name and either their name or badge number. A Department of Homeland Security spokesperson responded saying when officers conduct operations, they clearly identify themselves as law enforcement.
