A college football coach featured on the Netflix docuseries “Last Chance U” has died after being shot on Thursday. Police in Oakland, California said John Beam died Friday morning. Beam was shot on the Laney College campus. A suspect, 27-year-old Cedric Irving Jr., has been arrested in connection with the shooting following an overnight manhunt. Police said Irving knew Beam and believe the shooting was a targeted incident
