Arrests were made yesterday after antisemitic protesters vandalized a Los Angeles temple and yelled at people inside. It started late Wednesday morning when a few dozen people started protesting outside of the Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Koreatown. At one point, several protesters entered the temple, started yelling at people inside and shattering a glass vase. Los Angeles Police arrested two people, one for battery and one for vandalism. Rabbi Joel Nickerson said the event that was happening inside the temple was dealing with public safety issues in Koreatown. Mayor Bass, who has been criticized for not doing enough to protect houses of worship in the city, was quick to release a statement condemning the attacks.
