Celebrations are underway in both Caracas and South Florida as Venezuelans react to the capture and arrest of President Nicholas Maduro and his wife. Shouts of “freedom” echoed in the streets of Venezuela’s capital early today.
With the break of day, Venezuelans celebrated as many gathered in Doral, Florida at a restaurant where Venezuelans have been speaking out for decades against injustices in their country. Video posted on social media shows similar celebrations underway in the Venezuelan capital of Caracas.
