President Trump touted the U.S. economy as he addressed the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland today, saying inflation in the U.S. has been defeated. The president also highlighted companies’ investment into the country as well as 1,2 million Americans getting off food stamps. Trump said the U.S.’s economic success is good for all nations.
President Trump is also repeating his promise that he won’t use the military to take control of Greenland. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland earlier today, Trump ruled out the possibility of using force against the self-governing Danish territory that sits strategically between the U.S. and Europe. Trump has said the U.S. “needs Greenland” for national security and something must be done before Russia or China move in. Later at Davos, Trump told reporters “the military is not on the table,” adding he believes people will “use their best judgment.”
