The fight over Prop 50 continues. The California Republican Party has filed an emergency application in the U-S Supreme Court to block the congressional district lines enacted through Prop 50. They are asking the Ninth Circuit court to reinstate the 2021 California Redistricting Commission map while the case is litigated. It asks the court to act by February 9th, citing the start of California’s candidate filing period.
