Santa Rosa police investigate anonymous letters calling for violence against federal immigration agents. The Santa Rosa Police Department says one of the letters was mailed to the Sonoma County Republican Party, urging attacks on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement amid recent nationwide enforcement actions. Police say the correspondence contained extremist language and materials prompting a criminal investigation. Authorities say a similar letter was sent to a private company in another state using the local party as the return address. The case remains under investigation, and no additional letters have been reported.
