Residents in a Los Angeles neighborhood are sick of dealing with crime, so they’ve decided to do something about it. Valley Glen neighbors say they paid for a security system that includes cameras and warning signs that are posted around the neighborhood to let people know they’re being recorded. The system, which costs them thousands of dollars a year, monitors suspicious activity in real time and they say it’s already making a difference. A city representative has cited liability issues and wants the warning signs moved to private property which residents refuse to do.
