An aide to Governor Gavin Newsom is facing backlash for telling a reporter to “F off.” That was how Newsom’s communication director Izzy Gardon responded after being asked about Newsom’s dyslexia diagnosis. That has become a topic of discussion as of late, after Newsom commented about his low SAT score. On Monday, Real Clear Politics correspondent Susan Crabtree posted a screenshot of her email exchange with Gardon on X. Gardon replied with “Hey Susan – thanks for reaching out. Respectfully, F – off.” Crabtree had asked Gardon to provide paperwork related to Newsom being diagnosed with dyslexia at any time in his life.
