A 500-pound man is now on advanced life support after being rescued from a hole in Southern California. It happened at a construction site yesterday afternoon in Pomona. The man was not a construction worker, but somehow he fell down a hole that was about three or four feet in diameter. The Los Angeles County Fire Department called in their Urban Search and Rescue Team, and they performed a trench rescue. The 40-year-old was taken to Pomona Valley Medical Center on advanced life support. No other details were shared.
