Spencer Pratt says he doesn’t care about national politics and is only focused on making Los Angeles better. Pratt, one of the leading candidates for Los Angeles Mayor, was interviewed by NBC’s Tom Llamas on Thursday. Earlier this month, President Trump said he hopes Pratt “does well” as he tries to unseat Mayor Karen Bass. Trump did not officially endorse Pratt. Pratt, a former reality star and Palisades Fire survivor, says he’s willing to work with anyone he needs to work with, from the city council to the president, “to execute the best for Angelinos” He also accused Governor Gavin Newsom of criminal negligence, saying his failures in managing state parks contributed to the deadly Palisades Fire. Pratt called Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom “co-conspirators.” Pratt is currently polling third behind Bass and City Councilwoman Nithya Raman ahead of Tuesday’s primary election but trails Bass by just four percentage points.
