Former Los Angeles mayoral candidate and reality television personality Spencer Pratt appears to have gained a high-profile supporter in President Donald Trump. Pratt shared a photo on Instagram Tuesday showing the two meeting inside the Oval Office at the White House. Neither Pratt nor the White House has explained the purpose of the meeting, but Pratt wrote in his post that he will “never stop fighting” for his community. Pratt ran as a Republican in the June 2 mayoral primary but failed to receive enough votes to advance to the November general election. That race is now set between incumbent Mayor Karen Bass and Los Angeles City Council member Nithya Raman, both Democrats. Following the primary, Trump claimed on social media that the election had been rigged, though he did not provide evidence to support the allegation. It remains unclear whether the mayor’s race was discussed during Tuesday’s White House meeting.
