A mother is under arrest after leaving her four toddlers in a hot car in Victorville. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Kessler says this happened Wednesday when temperatures hit triple digits, like today.
“When deputies arrived, they discovered a three-year-old female, two two-year-old females and one one-year-old male locked inside the vehicle. The engine was turned off and the windows were rolled up.”
They were in there for a half hour before being rescued. Kessler says it only takes minutes for a car to turn into an oven. The mother is facing child cruelty charges.
