The Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education members are getting a raise from 46-thousand dollars to 125 thousand dollars a year. That’s a 174 percent raise. Board members who receive any salary or honorarium elsewhere will receive 50 thousand dollars a year, compared with the previous figure of just over 26 thousand dollars.
