A new leadership team will be taking over at the Los Angeles Times.
Davan Maharaj, who had been the paper’s editor and publisher since March 2016 and who had worked at the paper since 1989, has been terminated.
He’ll be replaced as publisher by 54-year-old Ross Levinsohn, the former interim C- E-O and head of Global Media at Yahoo and former president of Fox Interactive Media.
Named as interim executive editor was Jim Kirk, who was publisher and editor-in-chief of the Chicago Sun-Times until last week.
