(Washington, DC) — The Trump Administration is repealing an Obama-era regulation on affordable housing in suburbs. The regulation allowed the Obama administration to wtihhold federal funds based on a city’s housing policies. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson said the federal government has no business in dictating what’s best in local communities. President Trump has criticized the rule since the last election. Suburban voters are expected to be a deciding factor in this year’s campaign.
