(Los Angeles, CA) — The L.A. County District Attorney’s husband is facing several misdemeanor charges after he waived a gun at protesters outside his Granada Hills home in March. The California attorney general’s office is investigating the incident and decided to charge David Lacey with three counts of assault with a firearm. Black Lives Matter activists surrounded their home in protest of the DA and knocked on the door to speak with her. Video of the incident taken by protesters shows David answer the door with a handgun and tells demonstrators he will shoot them if they don’t leave. Jackie Lacey apologized for her husband’s actions at a press conference later that day.
