(Undated) — Change fees are going away at two more airlines. American is joining United in getting rid of them on domestic tickets and offering a credit if the new flight is less expensive. Passengers can also be on same-day standby for free. The airline says it’s trying to help in a changing travel environment. Delta is doing the same for domestic flights, in addition to Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The only exception to that rule is Basic Economy tickets.
