L.A. County Bans Most Halloween Events, Including Trick-Or-Treating
(Los Angeles, CA) — Coronavirus is scaring away most popular Halloween traditions in Los Angeles County. All door-to-door trick-or-treating is banned this year. The same goes for parties, carnivals, festivals and haunted houses, according to newly released public health guidelines. “Trunk or Treating,” where kids go from car-to-car to get candy, is also prohibited. About the only places that won’t be a ghost-town are drive-in theaters, which will be allowed to show Halloween movies. Car parades are also okay, as long as people keep their distance.
