California Governor Gavin Newsom sees “no hurry” to put out theme park reopening guidelines. While speaking Wednesday, Newsom said the state doesn’t anticipate any of the “larger parks” reopening until COVID-19 data becomes more stable. California theme parks such as Universal Studios, Knott’s Berry Farm, and Six Flags Magic Mountain have been closed since March and have repeatedly called on Newsom to put out guidelines. Disney recently announced it has to fire 28-thousand employees, in part, due to the delay in reopening guidelines.
