(New York, NY) — The NFL and NFL Players Association are modifying its COVID protocols. Standard isolation after a positive test for asymptomatic people is dropping from ten to five days regardless of their vaccination status. The change is in accordance with the CDC, which announced on Monday it had shortened the recommended isolation time from ten to five days, followed by five days of mask wearing for those asymptomatic. A record 106 players were placed on the COVID list on Monday.
