(Los Angeles, CA) — SAG-AFTRA says it has reached an agreement with Super Bowl halftime show producers to pay all professional dancers for their work. This comes after the dance community criticized producers on social media claiming they were asked to work for free while requiring them to rehearse up to 72 hours over the span of nine days. Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, executive producers of the show, say they already contracted 115 paid dancers before the backlash. The agreement still allows non-professional dancers to volunteer as field cast participants. The NFL championship game will be held February 13th at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood.
