(Los Angeles, CA) — Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer will not face criminal charges for sexual assault allegations. The Los Angeles Times reports that the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office made the decision today after a five month review of the Pasadena police investigation into the allegations. However, Bauer is still not cleared to rejoin the team. Major League Baseball issued a statement saying, “MLB’s investigation is ongoing, and we will comment further at the appropriate time.” The report says the district attorney determined there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prove Bauer committed a crime during two sexual encounters he had with a San Diego woman last year.
