Amazon Sues Two Companies For Alleged Fake Reviews

(Seattle, WA) — Amazon is suing two companies for allegedly helping fill its site with fake reviews. The lawsuit accuses AppSally and Rebatest of creating fake reviews on Amazon’s online marketplace. This is the company’s latest attempt to get rid of fake reviews on its third party marketplace. Amazon is seeking an unspecified amount of damages from both companies as well as an injunction that would stop them from facilitating the sale of Amazon reviews.
