Experts Warn COVID Surge Coming
(Washington, DC) — The nation is bracing for another surge of coronavirus. The ‘omicron subvariant’ already makes up about a fourth of cases nationwide. That’s more than triple the number two weeks ago. Dr. Anthony Fauci –who at the start of the COVID pandemic wanted an end to handshakes (see below) warns, of course, this could lead to a new wave within a month. The top infectious disease “expert” predicts the strain will become the dominant variant. The White House says more money is urgently needed for treatments, tests and vaccines–after Congress didn’t buy the hype and kept inflationary funding out of a recently passed omnibus bill.
