Academy “Condemns” Will Smith’s Actions, Opens Review Of Incident

(Los Angeles, CA) — A formal review is being opened into the incident where Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences stated it “condemns” the actions of Smith at Sunday night’s ceremony. Smith walked on stage and slapped Rock over a joke the comedian made directed at his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
