(San Diego, CA) — California is extending eviction protections until July 1st, 28 months after the start of the pandemic. The State Senate and Assembly have passed the extension, and the Sacramento Bee says Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis will likely sign the bill with Governor Gavin Newsom out of the Country. The extension covers those who are still applying and those who haven’t received rent money yet from the State.
