L.A. County Supervisor Kathryn Barger says she’s opposed to a new indoor mask mandate.
L.A. is days away from the County Health Department possibly issuing a new indoor mask mandate. Supervisor Barger told KABC’s John Phillips she’s against it.
“The state is not issuing a mask mandate, and quite frankly, no other county around us is issuing a mask mandate. And I think it’s going to have the opposite effect.”
Barger is offering advice for County Health chief Barbara Ferrer, PhD.
“And I think Doctor Ferrer would be well served to listen to medical experts that understand the epidemiology of this issue.”
