(Santa Fe, NM) — Actor Alec Baldwin says the accidental shooting which led to the death of a cinematographer on the set of “Rust” took years off his life. Speaking to CNN, Baldwin said he vows to never use real guns again in any film he’s making. Halyna Hutchins was killed in October on the New Mexico set by a suspected live round instead of what was supposed to be empty rounds. Baldwin said people attacking him over the incident “don’t know the facts.” The actor is facing a lawsuit from Hutchins’ family. He added her death was avoidable and so unnecessary and he thinks about the incident every day of his life.
