(Brooklyn, NY) — The special master overseeing the seized documents from ex-President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home is pressuring Trump’s lawyers about whether they were declassified. The former President has said he declassified the various top secret and highly sensitive documents, but Judge Raymond Dearie is looking for evidence on the claim. He said “you can’t have your cake and eat it too.” Trump filed a response to the Justice Department earlier today, arguing it hasn’t proved the documents it says are classified actually are. Dearie will now have until the end of November to finish reviewing the seized materials.
