The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular in LA County recorded its largest increase since July of 2015, Tuesday…. rising 12 cents to $5.96 per gallon. The average price per gallon has now risen for 25 consecutive days, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Services. It is now 50 cents more than one week ago, 67 cents higher than one month ago, and $1.55 over what it was one year ago.
