(New York, NY) — Ed Sheeran is blasting what he calls “so-called experts of music” after he was found not liable in his music copyright infringement case today. Sheeran said the plaintiffs’ music expert left out key components of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” and his 2014 hit “Thinking Out Loud” when trying to make the case. He was accused of stealing parts Gaye’s song for his and was being sued for millions. He called the claims against him “baseless.” Sheeran earlier threatened to end his music career if he lost the case.
Sheeran did not rip off Marvin Gaye.
